Mahatma Gandhi's Funeral-rare photos (MUST SEE)

On Friday 30 January 1948, Gandhi woke up at his usual hour, 3:30 a.m. After the morning prayer he put the final touches to the new constitution for Congress which he had been unable to finish the previous night. The rest of the morning was spent answering letters. Someone mentioned the fact that despite his poor health he was working incessantly. 'Tomorrow', he explained, 'I may not be here'. Gandhi would not permit those who attended the prayer meetings: 'If I have to die I should like to die at the prayer meeting. You are wrong in believing that you can protect me from harm. God is my protector.' Mahatma Gandhi's body lay on the pyre with his head to the north. In that position Buddha met his end. At 4:45 p.m., Ramdas, the third son of the Mahatma, set fire to the funeral pyre. The logs burst into flames. The vast assemblage groaned. Women wailed; men wept. The wood crackled and seethed and the flames united into a single fire. Now there was silence. Gandhi's body was being reduced to ashes and cinders. A nation's father was dead. Baabai in US - Abbayi in AP

NTR calls Venkatesh as baabai, because he is also a batch mate of his real baabai Balayya. The news is Sankranthi releases Adurs and Namo Venkatesa collections are impressive now. But while Namo Venkatesa is making good collections in USA, Adurs is making good collections in AP. The other film Sambho Siva Sambho failed in USA but got mixed talk in AP. The fourth film Om Shanthi has got no traces of success anywhere. The family audiences are voting for Namo Venkatesa when compared to Adurs. The Telangana fervor has turned out to be a boon for Adurs as publicity. Namo Venkatesa is getting mileage just for the reason of Srinu Vaitla’s image and family entertainer talk.

Interview with Abhinaya, A Telugu Girl...

Abhinaya: a performer against all odds

It is said that you can see a person’s soul by looking into their eyes. Gestures can convey far more than what words can. And this is more true in the case of 19 year old Abhinaya, whose name means ‘to perform’ and she is a performer, an actress. And what is special about this youngstser? One might ask. Abhinaya has worked against all odds and overcome her disabilities to become an actress. Abhinaya is deaf and mute by birth.

Born to Mr Anand Varma , an ex serviceman with the Indian Air Force and , Mrs Hemalatha ,a house wife, Abhinaya did not cry or react to any sounds for almost two weeks after birth. Even though her parents informed the doctor about this their pleas were not heard. For two years Abhinaya did not stand, crawl or even sit by herself. It was only after consultations with many doctors that her parents were guiding along the right path. Abhinaya was enrolled into the Oral School for the deaf at Marredpalli where she was rehabilitated. Abhinaya went on to study at the Montessori School and St Ann’s School in Taranaka. “Even though I studied in normal schools I could not complete my education. I have studied only up to the 7th standard because of difficulties that I had faced. But I intent to at least finish 10th standard” says this chirpy girl with the never-say-die attitude.

It was Abhinaya’s father who encouraged his daughter to act, an unlikely field for a girl with her kind of challenges. On the day she was born I knew that I wanted her to become an actress and that is why I named her as ‘Abhinaya’, said the visibly proud father, who has acted in a couple of films himself “I used to take her to film shootings. Every time she would see a film poster she would gesture that she wanted to be on them. We have only encouraged her thereafter”.

After a Cochlear Implant surgery at the age of 12 years Abhinaya was able to distinguish beats of different sounds “I can make out different beats. We speak English at home, mostly. So I can make out the difference in the sounds in that language.” said Abhinaya, who communicates with the help of her mother’s translations. In fact it is Mrs Hemalatha , who reads and translates the scripts to Abhinaya. Before a shoot Mrs Hemalatha translates the dialogues and explains what expression is needed and what lip movements are required.

Her first movie break came when Tamil film director Samudra Kanni spotted her photographs and asked her to star in his movie ‘Nadodigal’ “My father would meet with directors and producers he knew and tell them about me. Once he had given my snaps to Malayalam director Sleeba and it was near him that director Samudra Kanni saw me. After knowing about me he wanted to prove that nothing is impossible and signed me on to act in his movie.” Both director Samudra Kanni and Abhinaya were lauded for their work by the audiences as well as the critics.

I owe it all to my parents. My mother has worked hard. A day before the shoot my mother sits with the director and asks him what needs to be done. She then tells me the dialogues and how to perform. The first time I saw myself on screen I touched my parents’ feet and cried. It is only because of them that I am what I am today. When they see my pictures in the paper and posters, the happiness that my parents and brothers feel, knows no bounds.

Abhinaya is presently on a roll, having acted as actor Ravi Teja’s sister in the formers latest film ‘Sambho Siva Sambho’ also starring Allari Naresh and Siva Balaji. Abhinaya is now getting set to work in her second Tamil film to be directed by Shashi Kumar. “Once I have achieved what I have set out for, I would like to help the poor live a better life saying this ever smiling girl who becomes an inspiration for whom ever she meets.

Adhurs Movie Review

Adhurs is the most awaited movie of the season and it is the movie which has more expectations that it will rock the box office..We will see how it went and how it will go forward...

Plot:

Its the Story of a twin brothers who are separated after their birth and later how their characters are and how they meet again is the plot with some entertainment and some commercial elements.

Performances:

NTR Rocked in two roles One is Chari and the other one is Narasimha, Chari's Role is Good at entertaining the audiences and the Narasimha's role is filled with some stylish and action episodes. Dance moments done by NTR are the Highlights of the movie especially for the songs
"Pilla Naa Valla kadu..." and "Adhurs Title Song..".

Nayanatara is ok and sheela got a glamourous role in which she did her best...

Brahmanandam is an important character with two shades, first half he will be Guru for Chari and the second half tries to take revenge on Chari. This is one of the best Roles of "Brahmi" and i have no words to describe his performance.

Technicians Work:

Choreography for all songs are visual treat, especially "Chandra Kala..", "Chari.." songs are composed well.

Cinematography of the movie is upto the mark, It would be better when taking some extra care while making scenes with animated background.

Art of the movie is too good, thats the main reason where many scenes are visually beautiful. but, scenes where the animation is involved are to be developed even better.

Music is the highlight of the movie and all know that the audio is already rocking..
Coming to the background score..Devi did a good job by elevating the scenes with his music.

Screenplay is good and not even a single minute where a spectator can feel boredome.

Fights in the movie are good but need some improvement towards making them realistic.

Direction is the department where all the above sections are to be taken care perfectly.

It is good but can be better...

Highlights:

1. NTR's Dances and Performance
2. Brahmi's Performance
3. Comedy by all the comedians
4. Songs

Dissappointments:

1. Lyrics Changed in the Chari song instead of "pilaka juttu" and "niluva bottu", "patha bike" and "old style" has been replaced.
2. Some action scenes and animated scenes.

Finally:

Its the Hattrick combination of V.V.Vinayak and Tarak (NTR) and i can definitely say that it scored good marks from the audiences. We need to wait and see how its result will be at box office whether a "HIT" or "Super Hit".

My Rating:
3.5/5
